We spent the last part of our honeymoon in Paris and I saved a couple rolls of black & white film to use while we were there. I thought it would be interesting to document a city that is typically so vibrant, in monochrome, and see if I missed the color. To my surprise, I didn't. Paris in black and white seems so classic, and some of these images have a real romanic and timeless quality to them. The more film I shoot, the more I understand why so many pure street shooters only work in black and white. I think I'll continue to do this with more of my urban photography.
Taken with the Leica M6 on Tri-X 400 (some shot at box speed and some shot at 200).
